Last year, the Milwaukee Catholic Home community had the unique opportunity to come together in faith for a three-day retreat, led by Augustinian priest Fr. Jim Friedel. Those who participated were inspired and spiritually refreshed, impressed by Fr. Jim’s ability to make Scripture come alive through his talks and discussions.

Fr. Jim returned this year with the topic “Telling Our Stories.” Using Scripture passages, Fr. Friedel lead participants into deeper reflection on the stories of our faith, seeking signs of God’s never-ending love present in these stories and in our own lives.

The Milwaukee Catholic Home community welcomed the opportunity to pray, reflect and grow in our relationships with God and with each other, and we look forward to next year’s retreat.
