Day to Day Excellence
Here are just a few examples of the many ways our staff are providing exceptional clinical care.
Deficiency-Free State Clinical Surveys
In 2011, 2012, and 2015, Milwaukee Catholic Home was deemed clinically deficiency-free by state surveyors.
Restorative Care and Strength and Balance Program
Our director of Recreation Therapy, Bridget McNair, recently completed a study funded by the Helen Bader Foundation to examine the impact of strength and balance programming on the management of falls. The programs Bridget designed have been found to significantly decrease falls and improve strength and balance, and have now been implemented campus-wide as a collaborative initiative between our nursing and recreation therapy teams.
Infection Control Program
We take our residents’ health and safety seriously, which is why we have an extraordinarily robust infection control training program involving every staff member campus-wide. In addition, 100% of our eligible employees were vaccinated against the flu this past year.
