Lifelong Learning: Kandinsky

Jul 21, 2014 | What's New

This week, as part of our Lifelong Learning series, the Milwaukee Art Museum is bringing the Kandinsky exhibit right here to Milwaukee Catholic Home!  A representative from the museum will be presenting to our residents on Kandinsky’s life and art.

The presentation will take place in the 3rd floor Activity Room on Thursday, July 24th at 1:30 pm.  All are welcome.

Just a little bit about the Kandinsky exhibit, from the MAM website:

This retrospective exhibition celebrates Wassily Kandinsky (Russian, 1866–1944), one of the key figures in Modern art, and showcases the extraordinary collection of Kandinsky’s works in the Centre Pompidou, Paris, and the world-class holdings of the related Blaue Reiter movement in the Mrs. Harry Lynde Bradley Collection at the Milwaukee Art Museum.
