The benefits listed are for employees of 0.5 FTE status and higher (with the exception of Health, Dental, Vision, and Short-Term Disability which require a .7 FTE or higher).

Vacation
Employees can earn up to two weeks of vacation per year; available after 90 days of employment.  (5 years of service – 3 weeks; 10 years of service – 4 weeks; 15 years of service – 5 weeks).

Sick Leave
Sick leave is to be used in case of an employee’s illness and is available after 90 days of employment. Sick leave accrues at a rate equal to 6 days per year. A maximum of 480 hours may be accumulated.

MCH recognizes 6 paid holidays (paid immediately upon hire):

  • Christmas Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Memorial Day
  • New Year’s Day
  • Thanksgiving Day

Health Insurance
Employer/employee contribution plan is available the first of the month following 60 days of employment.

Dental Insurance
Employer/employee contribution plan is available the first of the month following 60 days of employment.

Vision Insurance
Voluntary plan is available the first of the month following 60 days of employment.

Short Term Disability Insurance
Voluntary income recovery plan available the first of the month following 60 days of employment.

Life Insurance
Term life is provided by MCH (no cost to employee); value is equal to annual salary and is available the first of the month following 60 days of employment.

403(b) Retirement Plan
MCH contributes to retirement plan for employee after meeting match eligibility requirements. MCH matches employee contribution ($.50 for every $1.00 up to 5% of pay). 3 year vesting schedule for employer contribution.

Tuition Reimbursement
Part-time and full-time employees are eligible after 12 months of employment.

Bereavement Pay
Up to 3 days with pay; eligible after 90 days of employment.

Jury Duty Pay
MCH pays the difference between regular pay and jury duty pay; eligible after 90 days of employment.
