Rob Frediani, VP of Operations and Mission Integration

Milwaukee Catholic Home is delighted to welcome Rob Frediani as the newest member of our leadership team.  Rob is assuming the newly created role of Vice President of Operations and Mission Integration.  We asked Rob to introduce himself and talk a little about how his work will enhance the mission of Milwaukee Catholic Home.

What is your background in healthcare and senior services?

I am a Wisconsin native, and am married with three children. I have degrees in health service administration with a concentration in ambulatory & therapy services.

My career in healthcare spans almost 25 years. Following graduate school, I was a Fellow with the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul in health care ministries (hospitals, ambulatory services, and transitional care) in Indiana. I spent a number of years working with hospitals to improve access to health care services, improve quality, and grow the number of people being served.

What is “mission integration” and why is it important at Milwaukee Catholic Home?

At Milwaukee Catholic Home, we are part of a ministry with a uniquely Roman Catholic identity, and are also called to love and respect people of all faith practices. The goal of Mission Integration is to further infuse our Catholic identity into our daily practices, our management decisions and our strategic direction. I think that is important at MCH because I want people to recognize why “it is different here” and be able to tell others why they enjoy living and working here.

How does your Catholic faith play a part in your work?

I am a “born and raised” Catholic and I have been very blessed in my life. My career roots in health care are faith based, but over the course of the last 15 years my work life has been more secular and disconnected from my Catholic identity. Recent events in my business life have given me the opportunity to reflect on what is important in my life. Reconnecting my work life to my faith-based roots is a goal that I have and my work at the Milwaukee Catholic Home will help me to achieve it.

What do you think is in store for Milwaukee Catholic Home in the next five years?

I think MCH will continue to provide the highest level of services to older adults across the continuum of care, and will become more recognizable as a leader whose excellence will be a standard against which others are measured. We will serve more people. We will help our residents and our team members/employees realize the opportunities and benefits available from being part of the MCH community.

What excites you about joining the MCH team?

Milwaukee Catholic Home is positioned for continued success; it is already a “winning team.” I feel very fortunate to be part of such a strong and vibrant faith-based organization. I feel I have an opportunity to help our residents maintain and improve their quality of life and I want to contribute to making MCH an even better place to live and work.
