In the senior care industry, we talk a lot of the new wave of customers that will start turning 75 in the next few years. We’re told that the “baby boomers” will have new expectations for what senior living should be. They are self-directed planners, looking for more than just healthcare. What they want is a full, active life that combines security with independence.
Many senior living organizations are scrambling to try to change their product offerings to accommodate these new customer expectations. However, MCH is already offering the type of community that will meet these needs: a Life Plan Community that allows “planning” and “living” to merge, rather than being in opposition to one another. Formerly known as a Continuing Care Retirement Community, a Life Plan Community offers customers the chance to invest through an entrance fee in a complete continuum of residential, support and healthcare options. This gives our customers and their families the security and peace of mind of knowing that their changing needs will be provided for at a predictable cost.
At Milwaukee Catholic Home, our continuum includes independent living, assisted living, memory care, and long term skilled nursing care. In all of these residential settings, supportive and healthcare services can be individualized and customized to meet each person’s unique needs and lifestyle. We also offer short-term rehabilitation for those recovering from an illness or injury, and current residents have priority access to our exceptional therapy services. Support for memory and cognitive health is also a part of our philosophy of care across all of our service areas.
For our customers, having the security of a Life Plan allows them to embrace all the ways they can live life to the fullest at Milwaukee Catholic Home.
