The Senior Accountant is a key person in the daily and monthly accounting tasks all entities. They will be the immediate backup for the A/R, A/P and Payroll Clerical positions as well as responsible for month end close related journal entries and monthly account reconciliations. The Senior Accountant will assist annually with the audit and tax returns as well as other project-based tasks for all entities under the corporate umbrella. This position is part of a team responsible for compliance with generally accepted accounting principles. Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance. 5+ years of accounting/finance experience. Understanding of financial reporting requirements/GAA Proficiency with Microsoft Excel required. Experience in long term care with CCRC or other non-profit preferred
