Responsible for preparing, cooking and baking food for residents and employees. Cook food in quantities according to menu, ensuring adherence to recipes and dietary guidelines. Prepare all items as listed on production sheet, including special events and parties. Plan production to coordinate with mealtimes to ensure quality and quantity. Perform cleaning and sanitizing functions for food service department. Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff. Assist with other departmental duties as assigned. Previous experience in cooking in a long-term care facility or restaurant preferred. This position is eligible for insurance benefits such as health, dental, vision and life.
