Spirit.  It’s the third word in our tagline, and it says a lot about what’s most important at Milwaukee Catholic Home.  Our faith tradition is central to who we are, and we are committed to continuing to provide our residents of all faiths the opportunity for spiritual growth and enrichment.

In the upcoming print edition of our Focus newsletter, you’ll learn about a new opportunity for supporting our sacramental and spiritual life here at Milwaukee Catholic Home.  Our chaplain, Fr. Chuck Keefe, who has faithfully served our residents for 25 years, will be retiring this fall.  To honor him, we are establishing an endowment fund in his name, directed towards maintaining and enhancing the activities of our pastoral care department.  This includes everything from daily Mass to our annual retreat to the day-to-day supportive presence of our pastoral care staff in the lives of our residents.

Our identity as a Catholic institution, rooted in the values of compassion and service, is vital to who we are as Milwaukee Catholic Home.  We want to ensure that this identity remains strong as our organization grows and changes.

If you are interested in learning more about this unique opportunity to give, I invite you to contact me directly at dfulcher@milwaukeecatholichome.org or 414.220.3212.  I look forward to sharing more with you about the Fr. Charles R. Keefe Pastoral Care Endowment Fund, and to the support this fund will provide for programs and people who transform the lives of our residents.
