A Milwaukee PBS segment featuring our resident, Ada Dziewanowska, has been nominated for a regional Emmy award for the Upper Midwest Chapter of the The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences in the category of Outstanding Achievement for Human Interest Programming! The film highlights Ada’s role as longtime artistic director of the Syrena Polish Folk Dance Ensemble of Milwaukee, WI and the celebration of her 100th birthday.
We featured Ada’s story in a recent issue of the Focus newsletter.
Join us for a screening of the film on Thursday, November 30th at 2:30 pm at The Residence at 2462 N Prospect Avenue.
Congratulations to the artistic team at PBS Milwaukee and to Ada on this honor!
