Milwaukee Catholic Home has a number of programs or items we’d like to provide for the comfort and enjoyment of our residents.  Your donation in support of one of these items or programs will enrich residents’ lives by providing programs and services that would not otherwise be available.

 MCH Endowments

MCH has established three endowments to build a firm foundation for our most important programs.  Your gift designated to one of these endowments will continue to have an impact for generations to come.

• Franz and Virginia Bidinger Endowment for the Fine Arts – This endowment, established by the Bidinger family, ensures meaningful therapeutic and recreational fine arts programming in both the Residence and the Health and Rehab Center. 
• Benevolence Fund – This endowment allows the MCH community to assist residents experiencing unexpected financial hardship, allowing them to remain in MCH homes.
• Chaplaincy Endowment – This new endowment provides ongoing funding for spiritual and pastoral care programming and staffing at MCH.

  Recommitment to the Community

In addition to the vital work that goes on within our walls, MCH is also recommitting to social accountability through a variety of community programs. 

• MCH has committed to sponsoring the work of Bonnie Anderson and other staff members with programs to provide breast cancer education and screenings to the underserved in the Milwaukee area
• MCH funds the Parish Nurse program at Three Holy Women Parish, and is pursuing opportunities to further collaborate with the parish in community outreach efforts

Your gift of just $75 can provide residents with an hour of music therapy programming.

• Patio Improvements

Help us continue to beautify our outdoor spaces.

• New Piano for the Residence

A new piano will allow us to continue bringing exceptional musical performers to MCH to enrich the lives of our residents.

• Nu-Step for the Health and Rehab Center Therapy Gym

Residents from across our continuum of care benefit from state-of-the-art therapeutic equipment in our Rehab Center.

• Library Fund

In an addition to expanding our excellent book collection, help us incorporate new technology that will allow residents to expand their horizons and communicate with family and friends.

• Aviaries and Aquariums

Our residents enjoy the beauty of nature through our beautiful bird aviaries and aquariums. Sponsor an aviary for a month with a gift of $150, or an aquarium with a gift of $100.

• New Seating for the 6^th Floor Theatre (The Residence)

Residents use the 6^th Floor Theatre for everything from movies to sporting events to weekly Communion Service.  Help us provide them with new, comfortable theatre-style seating.

• Chapel Fund

Help support needed refurbishments in the St. Anne and St. Joachim Chapels.
