As part of our new Lifetime of Learning series at Milwaukee Catholic Home, the Milwaukee Ballet paid a visit to our Health and Rehabilitation Center this past week.

Eight dancers spent a fascinating hour taking residents and visitors through a typical ballet class at a professional company, including stretching and strength exercises, followed by the performance of an original dance piece.  The Ballet’s educational coordinator was on hand to answer numerous questions from the audience, on everything from how to financially support yourself as a performing artist to the proper care of toe shoes.
