Benefits listed are for non-exempt employees of 0.5 FTE status and higher.

Vacation
Two weeks per year; awarded on anniversary (5 years of service - 3 weeks; 10 years of service - 4 weeks; 15 years of service - 5 weeks). Up to one week of vacation time may be used after 6 months of continuous employment.

Sick Leave
Sick leave is to be used in case of an employee's illness and is available after 90 days of employment. Sick leave accrues at a rate equal to 6 days per year. A maximum of 60 days may be accumulated.

Personal Days
Two personal days per calendar year are available for use (with scheduling approval) after 90 days of employment.

Holidays
MCH recognizes 6 paid holidays (paid immediately upon hire):

  • Christmas Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Memorial Day
  • New Year's Day
  • Thanksgiving Day

Health Insurance
Employer/employee contribution plan is available the first of the month following 90 days of employment.

Dental Insurance
Employee contribution plan is available the first of the month following 90 days of employment.

Vision Insurance
Voluntary plan is available the first of the month following 90 days of employment.

Short Term Disability Insurance
Voluntary income recovery plan available during open enrollment period.
 
Life Insurance
Term life is provided by MCH (no cost to employee); value is equal to annual salary and is available after 90 days of employment.

Retirement Plan
Eligibility is one year of service, 1000 hours worked per year, and age 21. MCH contributes to pension plan for employee; 100% vested after 3 years.

Tax Deferred Annuity / 403(B)
Tax deferred savings account; MCH matches employee contribution ($.50 for every $1.00 up to 5% of pay).

Tuition Reimbursement
Eligible after 6 months of employment.

Scholarship Program
Annual scholarships available for continuing education in any field. Eligible after 6 months of employment.

Bereavement Pay
Up to 3 days with pay; eligible after 90 days of employment.

Jury Duty Pay
MCH pays the difference between regular pay and jury duty pay; eligible after 90 days of employment.
